Instructions for Use

The Hostaphan cable-Integrated measuring tape must run in longitudinal direction into the cable from the slightly tensioned roll. The maximum tensile stress must not exceed 3 N (300 gf). Brief overloads of several times this value, such as may occur in the course of production, are withstood by the tape without breaking. In practice, the tensile stress is approx 0.8 to 2.0 N. Tests have shown that the cable measuring tape must be placed under a bundling film.
